While attending college years ago, one of the electives I chose was black and white photography. I’ve had a passion for photography ever since. Most of my work features landscape or cityscape images.

Photography is the art of capturing a moment in time. It tells a story and evokes emotion through the use of line, shape, color, lack of color, shadow, texture, perspective, subject matter and composition.

Over the years in photography I’ve learned there is a vast difference between “taking” a picture and “making” a picture. Being in nature creates an awareness and balance in my life. I realize my insignificance within the “big scheme“ of things.
